Ive tried to install it manually and it returns errors of ldconfig, that somehow it seems to be broken and one of the install paths. Ive checked that Ubuntu 18.04 is not on the current OS supported list of VSE for Linux. (This said, if you need to install a lot of Win only apps, best to install Win or run it as a virtual machine). The best VSee Messenger alternatives are Skype, Wire and Zoom. Im trying to install VSE for Linux 2.0.3 (latest build) on Ubuntu 18.04. The rating's not good on WineHQ so I wouldn't go there personally.
VSee doesn't appear to be a Linux application so the only way you would be able to run it is with Wine, if that's possible at all.
